With this Leap Year Day I am Trying to make plans for the future trips

This home can still absorb me ... I get so immersed in the past as it is cleared ever so gradually after the mass clear back from an overstuffed home to where time stood still ... And is out of date among the muddle

The extra hours today brings ... gives time for reelectional plans to incorporate time to enjoy this season of life outside... I am trying not to let it pass by ...

On this day I had hoped to take a short train trip to our once home village, to see the season come to life, along the River Darent. I am not really up to it.

This coming Friday is a Mothers Day trip to see again my mum in law ... A forthcoming trip too to Kernow, all interspersed with a few hours each in past and present hard copy and virtual record keeping, if so minded ... I tend not to waste time on the now stupid things in life to me, after a diverse and adverse unnecessary ugly time in life ...

Went further from my town today ...

and especially for a Sunday ... if a bus does not turn up it would obviously be a longer wait ... my daughter campaigned with her peers and changes were made in some aspects of public transport. This was when she sat on both local and county youth councils ...

There is always plenty of people using public transport and it is greener ... still lots to improve ...

Finally getting back out

with too much time absorbed in the home of too much ... I am in my day wear today ... after being in lounge wear ... for a few days ... Although I was not necessarily having duvet days  ... My parents, my daughter and I like to occupy ourselves even on these days ... It was always a struggle with daughter to rest awhile when unwell ...

It was warm out ... I love this time of year for I gave birth, just as life is coming back from the hibernation of growth ... It was perfect in that she could build up a resistance to life over the daylight months ...

Another Reminder that One is Near water here ...

when you see this sight in a residential car park
in Wadebridge North Cornwall

Browsing the local shops in Kernow ... One Autumn ...

November 2015

I usually have a walkabout around this market town in Cornwall during my stay, by myself, too at times ... even lost among the racks of all these magazines, in the newsagent ... one is subtly reminded we are in a coastal area ...

A lot has changed ... but so too, it has not with some of the derelict buildings that are still here, the tatty road signage in places. I feel quite at home in the rural areas, as I am in the modernised area where I currently live. I like the fact that the rural side of this country at times ... you are reminded of a past, quite often disappeared, nearer the cities.
