Our first port of call on my first day in Cornwall, after a restful morning, was to lay the most gorgeous jewel coloured, locally grown anemones, where my late Dad now resides.
Their was still evidence of the Autumnal colour of the landscape along the familiar lanes and up the valley from this town that nestles in the Camel Estuary.
This is a hilly place to walk out from at times. When mum enquired which route back home ... We do usually carry up some more hills to do a circuit walk. That day, I opted to return home the way we came ...
